Leon County Horticultural agent, Mark Tancig, will review the common natural communities of Leon County and then discuss available plants that are found in those natural communities. Participants will learn to consider the natural community of their site and what native plants would naturally occur there. This helps meet the Florida-Friendly Landscaping Principle of Right Plant, Right Place.
