When you buy a native plant, you’re buying a piece of history! Before the modern concept of a plant nursery, people still selected, cultivated, and revered native plants for their culinary, medicinal, and cultural value. Our very own Jenna Noel Pope holds an M.A. in History and will discuss how people in the region used native plants over time.
