With a focus on environmental and organic practices in the fall and winter garden, co-owner Joe Walthall will cover soil preparation, watering, fertilization, pest control and when and what to plant. The workshop will conclude with a demonstration in our vegetable garden next door to the nursery. Fall is the ideal season to start for beginners or experienced gardeners who are new to Tallahassee. There are fewer weeds, mosquitos and other pests and less disease to battle in the fall and winter garden!
